To become a woman who exudes radiance and embraces a beautiful experience of life, we need to focus on cultivating a more gentle approach in our interactions with others and ourselves.
Being gentle means having flexibility and compassion within the dynamics of our relationships. It means we can allow understanding and empathy in how we approach our interactions.
Become a Whole and healthy person with god's grace
The key to embodying gentleness and kindness lies in first addressing our own inner wounds and achieving a state of personal wholeness. For many years, I grappled with this concept, facing numerous challenges and setbacks along the way.
During moments of profound emotional and spiritual turmoil, I found it incredibly challenging to maintain a gentle and compassionate outlook towards myself and others. The amount of energy required to sustain such a demeanor often left me feeling drained and depleted, hindering my ability to pursue personal endeavors that brought me joy and fulfillment.
Learn to Be Gentle with Yourself
You need to learn to be gentle with yourself. When you are soft and kind to yourself, you naturally extend that gentleness to others. You don’t have to fake being gentle with other people because it becomes your default behavior. When gentleness is your set point, you don’t feel like you’re betraying yourself or falling into patterns of self-abandonment. You remain true to yourself, ensuring that you never abandon your own needs.
See Life Through God's Eyes: As Love
One thing that has truly helped me become more gentle and soft is viewing the world as God does. God sees the world and us through a lens of love. Anything that does not align with this perspective is not from God. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is a God of love—period. Change the way you see other people and yourself. When you look at yourself through the eyes of love, there is no other option but to be gentle with both yourself and others.
See Others as Children of God
From God’s perspective, we are all His children! Viewing ourselves and others through His eyes means seeing everything with love. Recognizing each person, including yourself, as a child of God transforms how we interact with one another. As children of the Most High, we are called to treat each other with gentleness and respect. Every child of God deserves to be treated with kindness and compassion because of our Christ-like identity.
Pause and Choose Gentleness
In our fast-paced, instant culture, we often feel the need to respond quickly. But remember, you are a child of God. Allow yourself to pause and take a moment. Respond in a way that reflects Jesus and makes Him proud.
