Even though I still have my struggles at times, I recently had a truly eye-opening experience with forgiveness that has made a huge impact on my life. Firstly, I am extremely excited to share my amazing journey of trusting in God’s plan. I am thrilled to tell you about the transformative moment of letting go of bitterness and surrendering to God. My perspective shifted wonderfully! I am ecstatic to trust in God’s wisdom, His judgment is always perfect. Letting go of control has been liberating, having faith in His timing brings peace. The verse in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”, encourages us to trust wholeheartedly in God. Submitting to His authority leads us to a fulfilling life guided by His love.
2. Embracing Forgiveness
Secondly, forgiveness has truly become a deeply significant act of faith in my life. The moment I started to offer grace to those who have hurt me, I was able to witness firsthand the incredible and life-changing power of God’s boundless love and compassion. This experience has truly been nothing short of awe-inspiring and has strengthened my belief in the marvelous ways in which God works in our lives. Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) beautifully encapsulates this sentiment by urging us to be kind and compassionate towards one another, just as God forgave us through Christ. This powerful verse serves as a poignant reminder of the endless forgiveness God bestows upon us, and it motivates us to emulate that same forgiveness in our own interactions with others. By choosing to forgive, we are not only mirroring God’s love and mercy. Trusting in God’s justice has brought me such an incredible and deep sense of peace! I am no longer weighed down by anger and resentment, but rather, I find comfort in the fact that His justice far exceeds my own. In Romans 12:19 (NIV), it says, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Let this verse be a strong nudge for us to rely on God for justice and to avoid seeking retaliation.
