Hey sis! Let’s chat about something that’s truly changed my life since coming back to my Catholic faith. And it is seeing the world with new discerning eyes through a Catholic perspective. This journey has been transformational, and I want to share it with you.
Learn and Understand History from a Chrisitan Perspective
First, let’s talk about the power of history. Knowing our past is crucial because it shapes our understanding of the present. As Christians, we need to remember the beauty and the celebration of the soul that Christianity encompasses. It grounds us in truth and helps us see the bigger picture.
Clarity Through Traditional Catholicism
Since embracing Catholicism, I see reality so much more clearly. Everything is crystal clear now. I can discern world events better and make decisions that protect my purity. It’s amazing how much clearer life becomes when you view it through the lens of your faith.
Seeing the World Through the Bible
We have to see the world through the Bible and not the other way around. The Bible is our guide, our truth. When we start interpreting the Bible to fit the world’s narrative, we lose its essence. Jesus came to deliver the truth, and it’s up to us to embrace it fully.
Embrace the Fullness of the Truth
For so long, I tried to fit my faith into the world’s mold. Big mistake! The Bible is God living word, a timeless guide that speaks directly to our hearts. (Hebrews 4:12). It needs to be embraced fully. We shouldn’t twist scripture to fit our desires; we should allow the Bible to transform us.
Transformative Power of Full Truth
Sometimes, we cherry-pick the parts of faith that feel comfortable. But Jesus offers us the fullness of truth, not a buffet of convenient options. He calls us to embrace the teachings of the Church, the wisdom of scripture, and the power of the Sacraments. It’s all there for a reason – to lead us closer to Him!
See the World Through a Christian Perspective
Dear sister in Christ, this journey of returning to traditional Catholicism and seeing the world through the lens of faith has been nothing short of transformative for me.
